I’m pretty new to setting up PagerDuty, so please bear with me…
We created an #emergency-support Slack Channel for my team, and we want to utilize it so if anyone messages that channel, it fires off a Pager Duty incident so whoever is on-call can handle it.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction? I’m kind of lost atm… might be because it’s late and I need to sign off

Thanks for reaching out on our community space! To trigger an incident from a channel you need to use the /pd trigger command, this then opens a form for the user to fill out.

The Slack Workflow feature can be used with our PagerDuty action. This will allow anyone in your Slack instance to trigger a PagerDuty incident without needing to have an actual PagerDuty account.
